Program Dates

The 2023 Summer Intern Lodging Program begins on May 20, 2023. The end date is July 30, 2023. Interns must check out on or before this date. Interns must stay a minimum of 6 weeks unless otherwise approved by UNM RLSH Conference Services.

Payment Plans

The 2023 non-refundable payment plan charge is $35.00 and allows for 2 payments. The 1st payment is due within 5 business days of transmission of invoice and is required to reserve a room. The 2nd payment is due on June 09, 2023. A minimum stay of 49 nights is required for eligibility.

Applications

Submit the Summer Intern Lodging Program Application and Agreement and verification of current COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster for review and approval. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, payment instructions will be emailed to you. When payment is received, your room will be reserved. Applications must be submitted by the intern.

Rates and Fees

  • Applications require a $50 non‐refundable application fee paid upon invoice.
  • Payment Plans require a non-refundable $35.00 administrative charge paid upon invoice.
  • Nightly rate: $30
  • 5% discount: Interns purchasing 7 (seven) or more weeks of lodging will receive 5% off their lodging charges
  • Summer Mail Services/Mailbox: $15.00

Please Note

  1. All mail and packages must be addressed to your assigned SRC mailbox. No mail or packages can be delivered to the RVA building
  2. Full payment by credit/debit card is due within 5 business days of transmission of invoice. Your contract is not confirmed until your payment (or 1st payment if utilizing a payment plan) is complete.
  3. Payments made for interns by universities other than UNM are also due upon receipt of invoice in order to reserve a room. This process applies to interns that fail to claim their room (no show).

Code of Conduct

By choosing to live with us, you agree to abide by all UNM RLSH policies and behavioral expectations. Please read the UNM Housing Summer Intern Contract Terms and Conditions, the SIHP Policies and Guidelines, and all items on the current UNM RLSH Residents Expectations and Conduct web page prior to submitting your application. Alcohol is prohibited on all RLSH property. Smoking and other tobacco use, and vaping are prohibited within the on campus RLSH residence halls and surrounding areas, except where posted. This policy will be strictly enforced. Misconduct or policy violations will result in a review meeting with RLSH Management, may be reported to your Internship Program Manager, and may result in a forfeiture of your lodging contract. It will impact your eligibility to stay with us in subsequent summers.

COVID of Vaccination/Booster

The University of New Mexico will no longer require the COVID-19 primary vaccine series for students and employees, effective 3/14/23. This policy will extend to our summer guests, including summer interns. We continue to strongly recommend that the entire Lobo community should keep up to date with vaccinations, stay at home if sick, and follow CDC guidelines for all COVID-19 matters.

We are truly excited to be your host for the summer! Please feel free to email lodging@unm.edu or call Conference Services at 505‐277-2660 with any questions you might have.
